In a year-long celebration of the anniversary, WDAV launches Radio Chopin: 200 stories for the 200 years of Fryderyk Chopin. Each daily two-minute story recounts the people, places and particulars behind the composer and his timeless works. Each of the stories, as well as the compositions that accompany them, can be accessed at any time at the new companion website, RadioChopin.org.

Celebrating Chopin: Garrick Ohlsson in Recital
Monday, March 1 at 7:00 P.M.
This exclusive one-hour special features American pianist Garrick Ohlsson in a solo recital from Chopin’s birthplace in Poland. Ohlsson is the only American to win the prestigious Chopin International Competition and was selected from pianists worldwide to play this recital.
